The First Presbyterian Church of Williston is located in North Central Florida, approximately

20 miles  southwest  of Gainesville and 30 miles northeast of Ocala.   At First Presbyterian we take pride

in our community involvement by supporting the following causes:

 

·         The Williston Ministerial Association which provides help with utility payments, auto fuel, pharmacy and other needs including the Community Food Bank.

·          Fifth Sunday Community Worship Service where five local churches of varying denominations come together to share their love of God in a combination of worship and fellowship.

·          The Presbyterian Disaster Assistance Fund  At this time more than $409,000 has been sent to Haiti to meet immediate needs of food, water, shelter, and medical supplies.  More than             35,000 hygiene and baby kits are being delivered.

·          The Jamaican 2¢ a Meal Plan goes to medical needs in Jamaica.

·           Presbyterian University Student Outreach Program provides opportunities for spiritual growth to students the  University of Florida.

 

 In addition, we support our community by making our facilities available to the following organizations:

·            Williston Rotary

·         Girl Scouts of America 

·          The Williston Quilters 

·          Weight Watchers Organization 

·          The Williston Garden Club
